[She's already starting to shovel the peach cobbler into her mouth again, honestly.]

Of course, I'd love them if you've got them. And if you really don't mind telling me.

[She shrugs, picking at her own cobbler.]

Basically, I'm the reincarnation of the soul of the planet Jupiter. I...in a past life...was the Princess of Jupiter, and I had power, like what you saw. She died, during a catastrophe. A war, and she along with each planet's princess, was reborn on Earth, with the help of the Queen of the Moon.

The enemy of that war awoke again, and so did we. I'm able to become my past self, Jupiter. And I've remembered her life, more or less. It's a bit spotty at times, because she lived for a thousand years...maybe more...but it's really helpful at others.

[Very little of this actually means much to her, aside from what she's seen, if only because she's from a fantasy planet. She hums thoughtfully, though. It doesn't sound that ridiculous, honestly. Kind of.]

... Most of that doesn't mean much to me, honestly. I hate to admit that. But it is interesting. Why were you born on Earth if you're from Jupiter, technically, though? Was it just easier? Were there others on the other planets? If you know, that is.

Well, right...okay. So in the aftermath of the war, Earth was the only habitable planet. It was devastating, to say the least. [She's not entirely sure she can easily explain Saturn and the Silence Glaive, so she'll leave it at that.]

All of us were reborn on Earth because of that, and I believe because the Queen wanted us there to await the return of the evil being that caused the war.

But, you know, every planet has one of us. I've met others from other places, planets that orbit distant stars. [The Starlights, Galaxia...]

That's, kind of the basics, anyway.

[She leans forward, taking in all of this information eagerly enough—because it is interesting and unique.]

It still sounds so complicated, even if those are the basics. Much different than what we've got happening on Hydaelyn, but certainly no less interesting.

I'm glad you think so? It's. A lot to take in for people from Earth, but magic and stuff seems more normal for you guys.

[IT's so not at home...]

We use magic to run our world, with the exception of the Garleans. [Her expression sours just a little.] Even so, the gritty details elude most of the populace. I know more of what's going on because of my association with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, an organization that seeks to better the world.

The Garleans are your enemies, then?

[She just takes a guess...]

They're an immediate problem.

[She answers, shaking her head.]

There are other problems too. We have the ascians, and they're constantly trying to intervene and make things worse. They want to cause calamities and flood the world with darkness.

[hurricaneshout]

I'm sorry to hear that. I wish there was something I could do...

[Makoto shook her head, sighing.]

Rather not bum you out, though. I'm sorry.

It's fine. You're fine. [She waves it off.] There's not much that can be done while I'm here, and there are many capable people that are likely handling everything while I'm gone.

Fair, fair...yes. No sense in worrying too much, for sure.

[No sense at all.]

Hopefully we have a breakthrough soon, here, though. Till then, we still have to deal with all their rules.

At least it's easy enough to get around them. For now. For a time it wasn't, but they seem to have relaxed things.

[She sighs, shaking her head.]

Yeah. And I guess it's not too bad. At least...sex is nice?

[That's a weird thing to say but she feels it's accurate.]
