Hello! I think I've got this working properly... but anyroad! If you need me for anything, please leave a message. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, and I promise I'm not ignoring you if I don't answer. I mean it!
BEEP!

I'm not sure, we didn't have any peaches on Hydaelyn.

[Makoto gestures to an enormous peach cobbler sitting on the table.]
It's a fruit pie, a peach cobbler. A friend taught me how to make them, and I thought I'd share. Just pick a piece and tell me what you think.
no subject
So she honestly doesn't have to be told twice before she's shoving it in her mouth.]
It's delicious.
no subject
[Makoto breathes out a sigh of relief and sits down across from Lyse, picking some up herself.]
Also...there's something I wanted to ask you about. That may be a little sensitive. I'm not sure.
no subject
Hmm.]
What is it?
no subject
[She doesn't want to say much more about who.]
I haven't, and won't, tell anyone. I know more about that than I might seem.
[She reaches up and touches her chest, drawing out a pulse of green light from her heart. And a faint crackle of electricity runs along her fingertip, likely making it quite obvious who she is.]
I wanted to tell you that I'll keep your secret, if you keep mine.
no subject
That is, until Makoto continues, her eyes following the movement of her hand and the crackle of electricity as she tries to put her words together.]
So... that was you that night, then? I wouldn't have believed it if you hadn't told me. [A pause. She wonders which one of them had said something, but she'll ask them about that later.] I appreciate it. Not keeping me in the dark.
[There's another pause, thoughtful.]
I'll keep your secret if you keep mine. I need it to stay secret. I'm a Submissive, it makes it easier to stay under their radar if I've got a secret identity.

[She puffs out a laugh.]
Sounds way more pompous than I intended, but there you have it. That said...it wasn't anyone's fault. I was talking to Megumi, about her home. And she mentioned your world. Hydaelyn, and it...well, you told me that on the rooftop. Wasn't hard to put it together.
no subject
I suppose not, when everything's just laid out like that. [She still hums a bit thoughtfully.] I wouldn't have thought of you being the Goddess sort of person. I don't mean that in a bad way, either, so please don't take offense.
no subject
[She doesn't mind telling it, but the offer of food was for real, and not just predicated on wanting to talk to Lyse.]
no subject
Of course, I'd love them if you've got them. And if you really don't mind telling me.
no subject
[She shrugs, picking at her own cobbler.]
Basically, I'm the reincarnation of the soul of the planet Jupiter. I...in a past life...was the Princess of Jupiter, and I had power, like what you saw. She died, during a catastrophe. A war, and she along with each planet's princess, was reborn on Earth, with the help of the Queen of the Moon.
The enemy of that war awoke again, and so did we. I'm able to become my past self, Jupiter. And I've remembered her life, more or less. It's a bit spotty at times, because she lived for a thousand years...maybe more...but it's really helpful at others.
no subject
... Most of that doesn't mean much to me, honestly. I hate to admit that. But it is interesting. Why were you born on Earth if you're from Jupiter, technically, though? Was it just easier? Were there others on the other planets? If you know, that is.
no subject
All of us were reborn on Earth because of that, and I believe because the Queen wanted us there to await the return of the evil being that caused the war.
But, you know, every planet has one of us. I've met others from other places, planets that orbit distant stars. [The Starlights, Galaxia...]
That's, kind of the basics, anyway.
no subject
It still sounds so complicated, even if those are the basics. Much different than what we've got happening on Hydaelyn, but certainly no less interesting.
no subject
[IT's so not at home...]

[She just takes a guess...]
no subject
[She answers, shaking her head.]
There are other problems too. We have the ascians, and they're constantly trying to intervene and make things worse. They want to cause calamities and flood the world with darkness.
no subject
[Makoto shook her head, sighing.]
Rather not bum you out, though. I'm sorry.

no subject
[No sense at all.]
Hopefully we have a breakthrough soon, here, though. Till then, we still have to deal with all their rules.
no subject
[She sighs, shaking her head.]
no subject
[That's a weird thing to say but she feels it's accurate.]

The sex is nice. Not that I would've said it before getting here.
